Get ready for the Central Coast’s official summer kickoff with the 2025 California Mid-State Fair!
A seasonal tradition since 1946, the California Mid-State Fair welcomes visitors from July 16–27 with a fun-filled medley of events, food, and attractions for all ages.
The heart and soul of the Central Coast, the fair promises something for everyone, showcasing the best in our local culture from talent to craftsmanship.
Whether it's thrills, live music, or fabulous food you’re after, here’s a peek at what’s in store.
Attractions
From exhilarating carnival rides and live exhibitions to agricultural competitions and livestock shows, the California Mid-State Fair is a vibrant display of local talent, honoring the hard work and dedication of farmers as well as the creativity and passion of artisans and hobbyists.
Any daredevils out there? Well, hang onto those cowboy hats for the 805 Country Rodeo Finals on July 26th, where the top-performing cowboys and cowgirls vie for honors in barrel racing, match roping, team penning, and more.
Looking for even more heart-pounding fun? Buckle up for the Monster Truck Takeover on July 27th as they tear up the track with the Best Trick contest, Side-by-Side racing, and the crowd favorite—No Rules Freestyle.
Concerts & Music
This year, Grammy, CMA, and AMA award-winning musical superstars Keith Urban, Flo Rida, Jon Pardi, Cody Johnson, Bailey Zimmerman, and David Lee Roth take to the stage, delivering unforgettable performances under the stars.
Tickets to these Grandstand Arena performances are not included in the fair’s daily admission and are sold separately. Everyone three years and older must have a ticket.
A Food, Wine, & Craft Beer Heaven
Come hungry and indulge in classic fair fare, including cotton candy, funnel cake, and of course, our local, best-in-the-world cinnamon rolls! Or perhaps you’re in the mood for regional gourmet offerings.
You can’t have food without drink, particularly when the Central Coast has established itself as a premier wine and craft brewery destination. Take a break from the fair’s attractions as you sip and savor the coast’s best libations.

Know Before You Go
The California Mid-State Fair, located at 2198 Riverside Avenue in Paso Robles, offers limited paid parking for $30 (cash only) across from the Fairgrounds’ main entrance on Riverside Avenue.
