Decluttering your home can be a daunting task, especially if you have tons of stuff packed away. Don’t Overwhelm Yourself

Taking things room-by-room will greatly decrease the amount of stress that decluttering instigates. It’s like those spring cleaning tips: don’t bite off more than you can chew. Start with the most cluttered areas in the home, usually the garage or attic, and work your way to bedrooms and the kitchen. Make sure to fully finish one room before moving onto the next, and don’t forget to label it.

Sort Your Stuff

If you’re like most people, chances are you have a ton of useless stuff lying around the house or already in your storage unit. It’s time to properly sort these items into four categories: keep, throw away, store, and donate. What you keep stays in the house, and what you store comes to us.
